4. Vaseline- this may seem a bit strange form of treatment, but if you spread out Vaseline deep into the scalp, it is believed to stop head lice from being able to feed on the host’s blood. By stopping the head lice from feeding, it is reported that the head lice will simply crawl away to look for another host.

5. Tea Tree Peppermint- this is another alternative treatment for treating head lice because it is believed to kill off the head lice if a person with this kind of infestation used this treatment as a shampoo every two days for a week.
